Deep Texture Varnish

To create a tactile and visually exciting surface pattern, take a look at our Deep Texture Varnish. This process originated from the need to develop a varnish that had the depth of a silkscreen varnish, but the fine detail of a litho print.

Creating very fine parallel lines in the varnish, causes light to refract of the surface. Combine this with selected areas that have varied light angles and you can create a surface that shimmers and 'flips' as the light catches the different textures.
