Our Research & Development team are continually developing and testing new methods of applying inks, varnishes and foils. We have a dedicated R&D press that can be adapted to achieve effects producing unique effects and creations, one of which is known as Creative Varnish.

Creative Varnish is, in essence, a holographic spot UV varnish. The machine application is very special and is where the magic happens. You are able to design a light-catching clear pattern to your product surface. It can be placed over any print areas without detracting or changing the base print colours. It is the light refraction that makes the surface come to life. A slight change of viewing angle releases an elegant burst of rainbow colours.

Unlike laminations, this technique does not compromise the recyclability of the base substrate, thus giving it great environmental credentials.
